FOO stands for Friends Of Others

It all started when I was teaching in Outer Banks, NC and the students met in my tiny ESL room for lunch. One day we were talking about how certain people were sad. We decided to make cards for students and staff who were having a tough day. We would secretly make the cards and deliver them around school and sign them, FOO Crew. The entire point was to spread kindness and to show others that someone cared about them! Maggie, Madison, Italo, and so many of the 4th & 5th-grade students would come together during the school day to help with this mission! From there, it turned into doing things for our schools, communities, and so much more! 

Now, we're working on several projects with the goal to spread kindness and love and to enrich the lives of those near and far.
